Abstract

This volume of MEDICINA 24/4 contains a splendid collection of experiences, in the form of a story, presented by a group of professionals who carry out their professional practice in the Republic of Ecuador. The world of health is the protagonist in each of these stories, of this multicultural, multifaceted and immensely abundant country, located on the equator in South America.
Commitment, delivery, learning, lesson, urgency, study, are some of the elements that make up these stories, as a common thread of all the works that are presented in these pages. Some happy, others painful, all reflective, written in everyday language to make it easy to read, at any age; therefore, it is aimed at the general public, who will be able to live each one of them.
It takes place in large cities, as well as in remote towns, in the same way in extreme and remote places of the Ecuadorian territory, so the reader will be able to know, or at least imagine, various places in the national geography.
