About the Journal

FECIM (Foundation for Education and Quality in Ecuadorian Medical Research) was established, among other purposes, in order to promote, manage and execute programs and projects aimed at professional training in the area of health and medicine, as well as academic research at all levels.

Within the projects, the idea of his academic magazine “The Ecuador Journal of Medicine” was born as a means of promote research in all Health Areas.

"The Ecuador Journal of Medicine" is a peer-reviewed Ecuadorian scientific journal, dedicated to the rapid publication of original research, review articles, clinical cases, case reports, brief communications on applied research in the fields of Human Medicine in its different areas.

Intended for all Health personnel: Doctors, nurses, obstetricians, assistants, technologists, psychologists, rehabilitators, dentists and other professions related to Health.
